Bryan K. Behne, MD, FACOG

Dr. Bryan Behne, grew up in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he graduated with Honors in Electrical Engineering in 1992. He worked for Texas Instruments for 5 years, developing radar seeking missile systems and communication devices.

In 1996, Dr. Behne left the Engineering field for a career in medicine. He moved to San Antonio to study at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where he received his Medical Degree in 2001. He completed his postgraduate training in San Antonio in 2005, and joined Women's Healthcare Affiliates that same year. Dr. Behne is a Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist, a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a Member of the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Behne is affiliated with Memorial Hermann, The Woodlands Hospital. His areas of surgical expertise include minimally invasive surgery, gynecological urology and pelvic floor reconstruction, pelvic organ prolapse and vaginal reconstruction. He also practices high risk obstetrics, and is particularly interested in genetics and prenatal diagnosis.

Dr. Behne is married to Valerie Behne, and has three daughters, Olivia, Caitlin, and Gabriella. In his free time he enjoys playing tennis and caring for his family.
